There are hundreds of organizations trying to support children’s needs, be it in developed US or underdeveloped areas of Africa but then very little improvement is seen , then isn’t it time we really asked ourselves why ? Unless the root cause is traced as to why the children remain uneducated, vulnerable and exploited, there is very little to be done.
The causes are many and reasons would be different in different geographies, however one cause remains the
same, lack of financial support. This is one cause for which the volunteers at children’s charities all over the world work towards, the ideas they come up with and the fund raiser events all finally zero down to one goal that is, raise more money for the little ones.
From corporate to community centers, all do their bit for charity , specially for children , some corporate’s have their own education foundation where employees go part time as teachers to the schools run by the foundation , other places employees forsake a part of their salaries towards educating a couple of children. Not only the academic interests but also their day to day needs are also taken care of. Though so much is being done by children’s charities there is still a shortfall as the numbers of needy, abused, disabled children are on the rise.
These children have not seen a childhood it is up to us to show them a carefree childhood and place them on a secure path to a better future.
